Hermione Granger

Hermione Granger attended Hogwarts from 1991-1997, setting herself apart from her peers during her first year by correctly solving Professor Snape's potion riddle, earning her House 50 points. In just her second year at Hogwarts, she helped to solve the mystery of The Chamber of Secrets. By her third year, she had so distinguished herself as a student, that the Ministry of Magic allowed her to use a Time Turner (under the supervision of Hogwarts staff) which allowed her to attend more classes than any other student at that time. Her fourth year she created S.P.E.W, the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, when she felt like house-elves weren't being treated properly by Witches and Wizards. Just before returning for her fifth year, she found that she had been appointed Prefect for Gryffindor house. Additionally, she founded Dumbledore's Army (DA), and convinced her friend, Harry Potter, to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts. During her sixth year, the current Headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, was killed by an Unforgivable Curse, wielded by then-Professor, Severus Snape. During her seventh year, He Who Must Not Be Named, was firmly in power and she was no longer safe at Hogwarts. She, and her husband, Ron Weasley, decided to go with Harry Potter to hunt the Dark Lord's horcrux.

“I mean, it's sort of exciting isn't it? Breaking the rules.”

Minister of Magic

Granger main

Coming in February

After the fall of Voldemort, Granger returned to Hogwarts to complete her final year, and attain her N.E.W.T.s. She then started her career at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, where she was instrumental in greatly improving the rights of underprivileged non-humans such as house-elves. She then went on to become Deputy Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and assisted then-Minister for Magic, Kingsley Shackelbolt in eradicating the old laws, biassed in favour for pure-bloods. Hermione Granger rose to the position of Minister for Magic within just two decades of Voldemort's ultimate demise at the Battle for Hogwarts. Granger has a husband and two children.
