ABOUT ME

Erin was my first DnD character. My friend helped me create her and I have given her live. She is a forest gnome; druid form the circle of the stars. She is also a dungeon cartographer and has a traumatic past, because DnD, am I right?

Background

Erin does not know where she was born but her first memories are from a dirty dungeon. She didn’t know where she was, as she did not see the outside for many years. Erin was a servant of a rich house, and because of her small stature, she was used to reached hard to get places. One day, a friend of her master offered gold in exchange of the ability to take Erin with them to a cave to explore. The end of the tunnel was too small for the two human forms that were with Erin that day and retrieve the map that was lost in there.

Since that day, Erin was taken in many journeys and adventures, always useful as a tiny creature. This went on for a decade or so, she does not remember exact dates, as no one was so kind to help her keep track. One day, while reaching a cave that had been blocked off by rocks, Erin found some of the treasure her masters were looking for, as well as a little music box. After grabbing the box, Erin felt a pull in the opposite direction of the blocked of entrance. That pull took her to another exit of the cave and into a forest, on the opposite side of the mountain where they had gone in. In that forest, Erin learnt discovered her druidic powers for the first time, as well as freedom. In the last 30 or so years, Erin has developed her magic some more and has gone back to being and adventurer and cartographer for hire, but this time she keeps all the profits.

Appearance and Character

Erin is a forest gnome, bushy black hair, pale skin from all the dungeon crawling and star gazing, and short, even for a gnome. She is in her mid-40s, young in the standards of her race, and lies constantly about it. Because she does not know how much time she lost at the service of that person, Erin likes to lie and pretend she is either much older or much younger, this way she can hide the pain of not really knowing how old she is. Erin is easy going, joyful, and bubbly most of the time, she likes to have a good laugh and drinks with whomever will listen to her stories. Very strong willed and protective of those that need help, Erin usually finds herself protecting children and little animals. She loves to be in the city and make new contacts at taverns, exploring dangerous and fun dungeons, but her favorite place is a clearing in the forest at night, where she can study the stars and dream of far of places.
