How to transfer files to CIS2 using  the SSH Windows Client

Step 1: Open SSH Secure Shell Client
            
Step 2: Click on the "Quick Connect" button
    
Step 3: Type in "cis2.oc.ctc.edu" for the Host Name

Step 4: Enter your username:
             Note: Read the Student Accounts section for more information on
                            usernames and passwords.

Step 5: Ensure that the port number is set to: 22

Step 6: Click connect

Step 8: After clicking connect you will be prompted to enter your password.
             Note: Please read the Student Accounts section for more information on
                            usernames and passwords.


Step 9:
Once connected click the file transfer button

Step 10: Now your should be at the main File Transfer window

Step 11: The left window "Local Name" contains all the files locally on your machine.  The  right window "Remote Name"  is a list of all files in your home directory on the server. You can use the icon to browse through drives and folders locally on your machine.

Step 12: To upload  from your machine to the server just select the file (s) or folder (s) from the "Local Name" window (left window) and drag it to the "Remote Name" window.

Step 13: Once the transfer has been completed. All the files you selected for the upload will be listed  in the "Remote Name" window.
